Thank you for visiting the Run for Blood Quarter Marathon & 5K website. The 3rd annual event was held at Lake Calhoun on July 30, 2011. The net proceeds will benefit the Blood Services North Central Region of the American Red Cross in St. Paul.
Blood Services of the North Central Region in St. Paul handles blood collection through their blood drives. They distribute blood to hospitals in Minnesota and Wisconsin. We will be having a community blood drive at our Run for Blood event.
The American Red Cross is a non-profit organization that depends on charitable contributions from individuals and companies. You can support the American Red Cross as a blood donor, volunteer or by making a charitable contribution. Please consider joining me in supporting the American Red Cross.
